Disruptions in the supply chain have revealed the importance of the concept of “sustainable.”  The raw material crisis in the world, difficulties experienced in accessing raw materials, and the rising raw material prices as a result have put the country's economies in difficulty.

This situation, which increases direct production costs, rising prices and high inflation will threaten the country's economies for a long time.

Tugrul Günal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Supply Chain Management Association (TEDAR), says that companies remember the concept of sustainability in crises. Günal said that: "It has been discussed for many years. In order to find out why a foreign investor does not prefer our country in accordance with our expectations. Unfortunately, our well-educated young people, our natural logistics position and our well-developed infrastructure, our successful SMEs representing a very large part of our country's economy, our close cooperation with the West since the Ottoman era, are not enough to attract foreign capital to our country. The West always thinks long-term, evaluates and implements all possible risks and opportunities. Because you will never accept a possible negative development related to your brand value that you have achieved in front of your relevant stakeholders by scraping by your nails since the establishment of your company. Your corporate culture, quality assurance, which is accepted in your sector, your company image, brand value and the trust and satisfaction that has been formed with the customer are your most important values that cannot be put at risk.”
