Turkish American Businessmen Association (TABA/AmCham) active in Turkey as American Chamber of Commerce gathered on 30th May 2014 at Ritz Carlton Hotel in order to determine and vote the new board o directors.
Before passing to the voting at the general assembly meeting which had started with the opening speech of the general president of TABA/AmCham Ekim Alptekin, information relating to the activities has been shared with the members. One of the first names bringing forward the necessity of inclusion of Turkey in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Charter whose negotiations between UAS and EU are on-going and which is the most important economic agenda item of the economy was Ekim Alptekin the general president of TABA/AmCham who had also cited the activities he carried out in that scope as well as the information he had from the meetings he had participated.
During this meeting were selected the original and associate members of the board of directors, the original and associate members of the board of auditors, the original and associate members of board of discipline and the original and associate members of high advisory board. Our shareholder Yusuf Bulut Öztürk has been selected in the name of our company as original member for TABA board of director during TABA general assembly. The ambassador Namık Tan has also participated as lecturer at the meeting where the new board of directors had been selected for a mandate of 2 years.
