Uğurcan Özer, who won the championship in the PTS5 category by completing the difficult courses in 58 minutes and 49 seconds at the World Paratriathlon Cup held on April 21, opened the door for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. With his success in Mersin, the national athlete gained an advantage by coming to the 9th place in the Olympic rankings of the category in which he competed. Uğurcan Özer aims to become the first Turkish athlete to participate in the Paralympic Games in the triathlon branch by continuing his successes in the world cups to be held in Spain, Uzbekistan, France and Italy.
