A Workshop themed “Customs Tariff Implementation and Classification Legislation” was Actualized within the Structure of Ünsped Development Academy (UGA) under Cooperation of UGM and German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Trade The workshop themed “Customs Tariff Implementation and Classification Legislation” was actualized in Tarabya, Yeniköy at German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Trade by the hand of UGM Customs Consultant Mr. H. Mustafa KILINÇ under cooperation of German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Trade and Ünsped Development Academy (UGA) at 09:00-12:00 on the date of April 12, 2018 Thursday. In the workshop in which the matters of HS Code being one of the 3 basic significant aspects in foreign trade operations, The Reason of its Significance, Basic Principles and International and Turkey Practices with the Tariff, Customs Tariff Interpretation Rules, Declaration for the Articles in Sets and Binding Tariff Information were handled and detailed, it was emphasized that the HS Code to be established within the framework of the current information after examination of the definition of the article as correctly was the basis of foreign trade practices, constitution of a number made up of 12 digits would not be adequate for establishment of a HS Code; with the given numbers, all customs and other taxes relevant for the article and permissions and restrictions that may arise at the time and after its importation were determined.
