Life Coach, Life Repairer Ms. Dilek Mirza ÇELİK became our guest within the Scope of the Disclosure Meetings under Guidance of the Woman Leadership Development CommitteeLife Coach, Life Repairer Ms. Dilek Mirza ÇELİK became our guest within the scope of the Disclosure Meetings under guidance of the Woman Leadership Development Committee at MHÜ Conference Hall at the headquarters of our company on the date of 11.04.2018 so as to handle the matter of “Managing or being Managed?”.Ms. ÇELİK starting by saying that you should be managing your life firstly if you want to manage, told that the concept of management coming to mean ordering-commanding, deciding, directing, was guiding and administering the staff members and other resources in line with the objectives of the organization in the general sense, added that management could be defined in short as organization, preparation and administering the human beings for actualizing of a specific objective.Ms. ÇELİK underlining that being a good manager was about seeing not looking, conveyed to us that we had to be aware of what was going on around and we had to pay attention to how communication and means of communication would be put to use to this end. Ms. Dilek Mirza ÇELİK, mentioning that women bore the peculiarities of a successful manager by reason of their communication, human relations, analytical, decision taking and conceptual skills, underlined that women preferred being managed instead of managing considering their future career plans by reason of matters of marriage, child. She also conveyed that our women did not frequently take place in manager positions despite their energy, creativity, skills of managing, versatility and doing many things at a single time.Ms. Dilek Mirza ÇELİK said: It is necessary to learn the meaning of guiding people not managing them. The individual and the woman have to provide, establish their own infrastructure in order to guide persons. It is not possible for a person without self-confidence to become a leader at all. She also mentioned that a manager far from being an administrator was a listener and observer, who had awareness, open to change (what is new), addressing as correctly, a planner and developing himself.
