The world is rapidly going digital. When we look at the business world, the way all sectors do business, from health to finance, from energy to food, is changing. Established industrial structures are being redefined. Moreover, brand new industries are being born that did not exist before.

A study by the World Economic Forum provides clues as to which of the technologies that are new to our lives are most transforming business models. According to the study, the internet of objects, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, three-dimensional printing, and new energy sources have already begun to transform the way we do business. In the coming years, we will experience the impact of advanced robotics and autonomous transport, artificial intelligence, biotechnology and genomics.

In this process, digitalization will play a decisive role in order for the industry to respond to this change. Today we are at the beginning of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This revolution, which we call Industry 4.0, requires a different perspective to make a process that ranges from raw materials to after-sales services more valuable. It also adds a new understanding to the competition.

Digitalization will also enable companies to make healthy and fast decisions, to achieve error-free and transparent management, to gain an advantage in competition with world companies, to act more results-oriented instead of seeking and waiting for excellence. It will be an important way out for sustainable success. It will be like a medicine for today's economies, where profitability is declining. Digitized companies will also be a happy company that is liked by its employees.

Digitalization has become the focus of everything, not just one area. Companies are now building their business models on digitalization. It builds personnel structures on top of that. Digitalization, which has become the only condition for survival can be achieved by using technology in the right areas.

For this purpose we appreciate value-added production. We need to transform the low-tech structures in our manufacturing sector into medium and high-tech without wasting time. In order to use high technology in industry, we also need to produce information. Today's economy is now turning into a knowledge economy. In this case, it's not going to end by saying we should bring high technology or if we bring it. Individuals who will produce and use information must also have the necessary equipment.
