There are some cities where Turkey gets sick if they sneeze. Adana is one of these cities. We've had our share of the virus that has affected all the world's economies. The producing cities made a separate effort to turn the wheels.

We talked about the way out with Adana Chamber of Industry President Zeki Kıvanç and Adana Chamber of Commerce President Atila Menevşe. Some businesses were closed when the virus first arrived, Kıvanç said, noting that it was included in the short work system, and they began to recover. Kıvanç, who reminded that the short work allowance continues in the textile sector and many of the hotels in the service sector have been opened, stressed that the facilities producing food, pulses, packaging, plastics and chemicals are now working better. "Measures taken in place, according to the decree announced on those who are not sick, those who have been followed up should perform their tests again and perform them at work. Otherwise, we won't be able to find people to work in production. Our industrialists must also comply with COVID-19 measures. Our exports increased compared to September of last year. After COVID-19, we will prove that Turkey is a production base. Design is the most important way out of development in this country. Fabric is produced from the same raw material in the world. One lira in the Far East, we have five lira and in Europe 25 lira. They are selling our design. This is not just in textiles, but in all sectors,” he said.
