More than one calendar has been used in human history. The Gregorian (Gregorian Gregorian) calendar is the least inaccurate. An equinox year is 365,242375365 days (365 days 5 hours 49 minutes 12 seconds). The average year in the Gregorian calendar is 365.2425 days, which is quite close to the actual length of an equinox year.

However, it is unrealistic to say that purely scientific methods determine everything in the Gregorian calendar. The ambitious Roman Emperor Julius Caesar wanted a month named after him, hence the name "July." According to legend, Caesar Augustus, who later became emperor and was no less arrogant than Julius, said, "Can there be a month named after Julius Caesar and not a month named after me?" this is how August was named. Caesar Augustus was not satisfied with this when he thundered, "How can the month of July have 31 days, but the month bearing my name has 30 days?" the poor month of February, which was designated as 29 days, was shortened by one day to 28 days, and August was declared 31 days.

Whatever the outcome, people divide the life cycle into periods. This is necessary for determining our age and economic analysis, periods of legal liability, international agreements, or agreements between individuals or companies.

At the end of the year, it has almost become a tradition for broadcasters to produce programs with titles such as "This Year Was Like This" and programs with titles such as "Expectations for the New Year" on New Year's Day.
