The world is going through a strange time. There are decreases in production, exports and imports at the global level. Regional instability, oil production restrictions, rising nationalism affect everyone. It is a well-known fact that weak economies get the flu when strong economies sneeze.
I don't know if it's because of my old age. The self-proclaimed “strategist” title, which has been coined in recent years and has no academic counterpart, makes me laugh. The Russia-Ukraine war, which those famous strategists said "will end in a week", has not ended for a year and a half. Naturally, oil prices and wheat and corn prices, which are vital for food security, did not stabilize either. On the other hand, the embargo imposed by the western world against Russia did not end, and more and more rigid regulations were put into effect. Naturally, Turkey continues to be among the countries most adversely affected by the latest developments, as it is a country in the region and has a fragile economy.
