The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Türkiye (KAGIDER) shared the results of the Türkiye Women Entrepreneurship Monitoring Report, which was prepared in order to make a detailed analysis on the performance, challenges and opportunities of women entrepreneurs. The result of the report, which consists of data collection, analysis and reporting processes in cooperation with KAGIDER-Akademetre, point to the strenghthening of women entrepereneurship. Esra Bezircioğlu, President of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Türkiye (KAGIDER), emphasised the potential of women entrepreneurs create new business areas and provide employment. "According to McKinsey's report, if women entrepreneurs have equal opportunities, they have the potential to add $13 trillion to the global economy by 2030 " Bezircioğlu said. The report aims toguide investors and policy makers by analysing the challenges and achrevements of women entrepreneurs in Türkiye.
According to KAGIDER'S report results, the Women Entrepreneurship Index increased from 44 in 2019 to 63,4 in 2025. The " Future Score" which represents confidence in the future, increased by 86.8. This shows that women entrepreneurs have more positive feelings towards the future. It was noted that women's understanding of entrepreneurship has changed and the rate of those who said " I saw an opportunity and took advantageof it " has the largest share with 53,6 per cent. This situtaions shows that economic obligations have been replaced by an opportunity-oriented understanding.
Esra Bezircioğlu, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Türkiye (KAGIDER), made the following statements in her statements in her statement on the subject: "It encourages innovation and creates multiplier effects by reducing inequalities. According to McKinsey's report, if women entrepreneurshave equal opportunities, they have to potential to add $13 trillion to the global eceonomy by 2030. By supporting women's entrepreneurship, we are committed to removing the barriers to this transformation, strenghthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and contributing to women's equal opportunities they deserve in the business world." Bezircioğlu stated that women's entrepreneurship journey is not only a financial decision, but also a deep personal challenge and a process of social transformation, and added that real success can only be possible with an entrepreneurship ecosystem where women do not only have to struggle but also receive support. Bezircioğlu stated that women entrepreneurs carry more burden of proof compared to their male colleaques and said, "They are questioned more and sometimes the have to struggle extra even just to have their existence recognised. The perception that their archivements must be extraordinary in order to survive in the business world compels women to constantly display heroism." Howewer, the real support is to ensure that women can compete on equal term with everyone else, without the need for exraordinary achievements.
