As Ünsped Customs Consultancy, we participated in the EU-Turkey Business Summit held in Brussels with the aim of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkey and the European Union. The summit was organized for the first time this year by EBS, one of Europe's prestigious business platforms, in cooperation with DEİK.
We also participated in the summit held at the Egmont Palace in Brussels, with Halil İbrahim Pişkin, General Manager of Ünsped Customs Consultancy, and Şahin Özgür Öztürk, Executive Advisor.
The summit was attended by many prominent figures, including Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, and Nail Olpak, President of DEİK.
During the event, important topics were discussed to deepen economic relations between Turkey and the European Union. Critical issues such as the modernization of the Customs Union, green and digital transformation, sustainable value chains, and strategic partnerships were discussed. The summit aimed to provide opportunities to further increase trade and investment on both sides and strengthen mutual cooperation.
As Ünsped Customs Consultancy, we had the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience, particularly in the areas of customs and logistics processes with other participants at the summit. We believe that cooperation in digitalization and innovative solutions is necessary for trade between Türkiye and the EU to progress in a more efficient and sustainable manner.
During the summit, various sessions and panels discussed how Türkiye's strong manufacturing sector and developing digital infrastructure could contribute to Europe's green and digital transformation goals. Participating in such events greatly contributes to Ünsped Customs Consultancy by bringing us closer to the dynamics of global trade and keeping us updated on the latest developments in the industry.
We are proud to be part of this important summit, where the EU-Turkey Business Summit offers new opportunities to Turkish companies and investors in areas such as EU regulations, sustainability, energy, and digitalization. This event has the potential to be a significant turning point in Türkiye-EU economic relations, and we will continue to fulfill our responsibilities in this process.
