The first session of the “Awareness Trainings” series, organized as part of the "Inter-Cluster Cooperation for Carbon Management" project supported by the European Union (EU), was successfully completed with broad participation, hosted by the Aegean Exporters' Associations (EIB).
The training was conducted by Dr. Faruk Şen, Deputy General Manager of Ünsped Customs Brokerage and Logistics Services Inc., and Gamze Satoğlu, Audit and Business Development Director of Smart Inspector Training and Consultancy Inc.
During the session titled “Climate Pact and Climate Law within the Scope of the EU Green Deal”, the legal regulations implemented in the European Union to prevent climate change and reduce carbon emissions were discussed in detail. Additionally, expectations regarding the EU Emissions Trading System and its implications for Türkiye were shared with representatives from public institutions, universities, the iron and steel industry, and the clean energy sector.
