With the amendments made to the Implementing Regulation of Turkish Customs Code

-A fee of 1,330 TL per sample will be charged for the second laboratory analysis. The list of analysis fees for customs laboratories (Annex 24) has been amended.

-If a handling request is made and the handling is requested to be performed within the warehouse, it will be finalized by the Regional Directorate upon the opinion of the supervisory customs directorate; if the handling is requested to be performed outside the warehouse, it will be finalized by the Regional Directorate upon the opinion of the customs directorate.

-Applications regarding the connection of a temporary storage place or warehouse under the supervision of a customs directorate to another customs directorate within the same regional directorate shall be made to the regional directorate to which the temporary storage place is affiliated, and the application shall be concluded by the Ministry.

-The lump sum guarantee amounts to be provided for each warehouse by warehouse operators have been increased.

-Even if individuals and legal entities providing customs consultancy services, as well as their partners and employees, cease their professional activities, they shall not disclose any information or trade secrets they have learned to anyone other than for judicial or administrative investigations or inquiries.

-If the Customs Declaration is to be made using software provided by intermediaries through the provision of software services using computer data processing techniques, the procedures and principles to be followed by the service providers providing software services shall be determined by the Ministry.

-The requirement for IP cameras, IP video recording and management devices, and Monitoring and Management Software used for the general characteristics of cameras to be installed in warehouses to be of the same manufacturer for long-term operation, maintenance, compliance, and stable operation has been removed.
