EFFECTS OF COVID-19 EPIDEMIC ON WORLD AND TURKISH ECONOMY

Today, the logistics sector is among the three most prominent sectors of the future, along with IT and biotechnology. Supply chain management, which means the integration of all business processes from manufacturer to end consumer, and logistics, which is one of the most important elements of this process, have once again demonstrated their importance after the covid-19 epidemic that deeply shook the entire world in 2020. 

During the Pandemic, there was a contraction and crisis in many business areas in the world, while the logistics sector was relatively less affected by this process and even offered and still opportunities for countries and companies that could manage this crisis well.

In our opinion, the developments experienced with the Covid -19 epidemic have the potential to radically change production and consumption habits. In this way, how developments will affect the world economy and supply chain must also be well analyzed.
