 We Handed out Turkish Donut and Wished that ıt would Lead to Goodness

Turkish Donut, as everyone knows, is the materialized version of people wanting to share their feelings on their sorrowful days, happy days. This old tradition is still practiced today. This is a physical indication of the open hearted characteristics of the Anatolian people. They only asked for prayer in return of the Turkish Donuts that they themselves made and handed out. The tradition of handing out Turkish Donut which is a part of our customs is carried out by Ünsped Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee with "Welcome Ramadan" theme. our committee which exercised the feelings are contagious logic believe that the happiness from eating something, especially eating Turkish Donuts, will create love and affection in our workplace. Our organization which has started with wishes that it would lead to goodness ended with Turkish Donut which is eaten with wishes of god's mercy on those we lost and prayers.

We are always grateful for our parents who raised as as strong individuals.

Our first investors are our mothers, just as an entrepreneur grows their business she invests us her love and time and prepares us for the future, we carry a piece of her in our own investments and every work that we do. We did not forget our mothers whom is with us or we lost, who instilled the values that makes us the people we are, have been with us when we fall/get up while we were learning the life, supported us in our failures/successes, sometimes gave inspiration and sometimes advice.

On 13 May Sunday, due to it being the Mothers' Day, our Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee handed out balloons, chocolate and commemorative goods to all of our female employees, mothers and mothers-to-be. 

 

 

Disability is in Hearts and Thoughts

The week of 10-16 of May is utilized as Disability Awareness Week in our Country and United Nations member countries. During the Disability Awareness Week, programs about the issues of disabled people, the preventive measures for being disabled and education of disabled people and the education of other people are published in mass media.  Disability Awareness Weeks are organized in our country dice 1966. 

We, as UGM, assume our own responsibility in this issue.

As Poet Muhammed Karabağ stated in his poem "For a world without handicaps, We need to on the same page, We need to take pleasure from it, Let's stay human in emotions, Let's find peace in conscience, Let's eliminate the handicaps, Let's be happy together", our effort is to make our disabled employees to feel that they are not different, to strengthen and encourage them. Don't forget! We all can face a permanent disability someday. 

We need to be aware that disabled individuals, compared to other individuals in the society, have different service requirements. We have to make the necessary effort and endeavor for this. Our Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee Members and our Shareholder Dear Yusuf Bulut ÖZTÜRK, in order to raise awareness in our company about this matter, came together with our disabled employees at 12:30-13:30 for lunch. 

 

 

Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee Attention to the "Establishing the Foundation of Healthy Communication, Love, Respect and Sincerity"

Within the scope of the Lighting Meetings under the leadership of the Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee On Wednesday, 21.02.2018, between 12: 00-13: 00 The UGM will be working on the subject of "Building the Foundation of Love, Respect and Sincerity" at the MHÜ Conference Hall we have hosted Ömer ÖZTÜRK, the producer and the host of the TV program "Tea Bagel and Chat in Ferry", Ömer Media and Paradiso Film Producer.

Within the scope of the Lighting Meetings under the leadership of the Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee, On Wednesday, 14.02.2018, between 12: 00-13: 00, UGM will host the "Empathy for Effective Communication" seminar at the MHÜ Conference Hall, Manager - Team Coach, Instructor, Emotional Intelligence and Body Language - MicroExpert Specialist Mr. Sayın Erdem ERCAN was our guest.

Within the trip; After the collective breakfast in Çatladıkapı Social Facilities, we visited the Sultanahmet location which contains many items from historical, touristic, cultural, architectural and local aspects.

Dear ÜNAL who explained the importance of Healthy Lifeand Exercise with the report of World Health Organization mentioned thatsedentary life causes the death of approximately 2 million people each year,that health is a complete state of well-being, and said that for quality oflife people need movement, food and sleep physically, emotionally, mentally andspiritually and those things are the 3 basic elements to protect one’shealth.

Within the scope of Enlightenment Meetings under the leadership of Ünsped Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee, on 08.11.2017 Wednesday at 13.30-13.30 in UGM MHÜ Conference Hall, we hosted with Self-Improvement Instructor Dear Ümit Hakan BOZKURT in order to discuss “the Golden Rule in Communication: Honesty and Rhetoric” subject.  

 

 

Led by Ünsped Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness and under Committee Enlighting Meetings, On Wednesday, 01.11.2017, between 12:30 and 13:30 hours, at the UGM, MHU Conference Hall, Retired Colonel Mr. Yusuf Bilgin was our guest to work on 'The Key to Success and Happiness: Communication' topic.

Thepurpose of the presentation is; to establish permanent links between theorganizations and the employees and to raise awareness in the internalcommunication, contributing to the success and happiness of the employees andconveyed the importance of emotions in communication, the happiness and successof employees, and the direct connection of organization success, internalcommunication, belonging and management, and human psychology.

Ledby Unsped Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee, within thescope of the Lighting Meetings, Emine Başdağ, a Psychologist, Koç and Mentorand 22-year Human Resources specialist, was invited to work on"Communication and Happiness in Leadership in Employee Communication"at the UGM-MHÜ Conference Hall on Wednesday, 6 September 2017 from 12:30 to13:30. She talks about the importance of the responsibilities of the leaders inthe new world to create vision, to organize, to grow by innovation and to focuson results, as she talks about trends in the world, trends of differentgenerations, expectations of Y generations against the working styles oforganizations, and organizational and working models in the changing world.

The ''5th of ''We Are A Team Trip'' Strengthening our Friendship was done to Town of Springs, Maşukiye

Underthe leadership of Employee Communication and Work Place Happiness Committee,the ''5th of ''We Are A Team Trip'' was realized on the date of 15 April 2017 Saturdayto  Town of Springs, Maşukiye which is famous with its Waterfalls andhaving matchless nature. In the scope of 'We Are A Team Trip' arranged as the 5thtime, our trip started with mixed village breakfast in Maşukiye and then we proceededtowards Sapanca Lake and our trip continued with walking and taking photographsin the surrounding of Sapanca Lake which gets its sourced from the snow waterscoming from the mountains and from Derbent Creek.

We Brightened with the Treat of Sweet Cookies in the New Year

Sweet cookies which were treated to the ÜnspedGümrükMüşavirliği Headquarters personnel by our supplier UlusalYemek under the leadership of Employee Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee were shared. Due to 30 December 2016 Friday being the last business day of the year all of the employees in the Headquarters were treated to sweet cookies. Our managers and employees brightened with the treat of the cookies.

The 2nd Trip of We are a team was organized in Edirne 

The 2nd trip of "We a re a team", carried out with 45 persons on 9 April 2016 in cooperation with Employees' Communication and Workplace Happiness Committee, Human Resources Department was organized in Edirne, is a city that was the capital of Ottoman Empire with its unique architecture in the history.

In the “Polonezköy Trip” that took place on 6 March 2016 with the collaboration between the Employee Communication and Happiness in the Workplace Committee and the Human Resources Department, the employees and the managers had a pleasant Sunday together.
