And today, women continue to increase the fire lit for equality. They verbalize the fact that they want to live in a "just world" for 162 years with organizations in every platform.
ÜNSPED Women Leadership Development Committee and BPW International Maiden's Tower Jobholder and Professional Women's Association talked about the difference between "being same and being equal" in the activity that they organized together on March 8 International Women's Day.
The "Woman Has a Name" named activity in İstanbul Technical University Maçka Campus Vakıf Conference Hall started with the opening speeches of Dr. Instructor Şerife Güvençoğlu and UGM Vice-President Ms. Özlem SARIBAŞ.
Dr. Arzu İrge Özyol, Aysun Kılıçaslan Soku, Ayşe Ağaç Dağ, Ayşen Zamanpur, Demet Cengiz, Dilara Koçak, Fazilet Patır, Itır Erhart, Dr. Nurdan Tümbek Tekeoğlu, Selda Alkor, Semra Demirer, Dr. Instructor Şerife Güvençoğlu, Yücel Canyaran and Zehra Denizaslanı each of whom existed in their own fields with women identity and provided contribution to struggle for equality shared their experiences from their life and career struggles.
ÜNSPED and BPW International Maiden's Tower Jobholder and Professional Women's Association said "Let's GAIN STRENGHT BY UNITING" to everyone who wishes to feel that they are not alone and unite with art and friendship on Working Women Memorial Day to which especially women showed intense attention.
